Eurodanceweb Award 2008

The German dance act Alex C feat. Yass won the eight edition of the Eurodanceweb Award with the song "Doktorspiele". This project was created in 2007 by Alex Christensen, a very well-known producer who co-worked in the past with big names of the international dance scene such as Right Said Fred, ATC, Rollergirl and many others. The winning song was taken from the album "Euphorie" released in many European Countries, which featured 14 tracks in German, English and Spanish.

Just 7 points behind, Moldova achieved its best result to date with Crazy Loop, alter-ego of Dan Balan, one of the members of the boyband O-Zone, who became very popular all over the World in 2004 with the song "Dragostea Din Tei".
Austria was third with the duo Fabrizio & Marco and their greatest hit "Fly Away". The entry was released for the first time in 2007 with an italo-dance sound and was then remixed in different styles including hands-up and electro.

The fourth place was gained by the Italian song "Anche Solo Per Un Attimo" sung by Bloom06, a dance project formed in 2006 by Maury Lobina and Gianfranco Randone, former members of the worldwide famous band Eiffel 65.

After winning the second edition of the Eurodanceweb project, Slovenia was back in the top 5 with Kristina's "Ona Se Ljubi Sama" remixed by the Croatian band Karma.

More than 120 disc jockeys, journalists and music producers voted the songs which competed in this edition, selected by the Eurodanceweb staff after monitoring the European dance scene.
