Winner
of the 2011 Eurodanceweb Award is Clokx with "Time of my life". Created
as a side project of the Dutch producer Ron Van Den Beuken, this act
shot to international fame in the early 2000's with trance singles such
as the omonimous "Clocks" (cover of the well-know Colplay hit) and
"Overdrive".
Later in 2010
Van Den Beuken was joined by M.A.S. de Vries and the vocalist and model
Karlijn van Dinther for a new comeback in the international music scene
with the single "Cath your fall", which entered sales and radio charts
in several Countries such as their homeland, Spain and the United
Kingdom.
The follow-up single of this smash hit was "Time of my life", released
in the Spring of 2011 and then chosen to represent the Netherlands at
the annual Eurodanceweb Award.
Iceland
achieved its best result to date thanks to Hera Björk, one of the
most popular Icelandic singers who also represented her Country at the
2010 Eurovision Song Contest, and Haffi Haff, with their duet single
"Feel the love tonight".
Just four
points behind, the United Kingdom popstar Jodie Connor placed third
with her single "Bring it" which features the English rapper and
producer Tinchy Strider. The song was released on 20 February 2011 and
debuted at number 11 on the UK R&B Chart, being one of the most
played tracks on BBC Radio One.
