For the third time in the history of the Eurodanceweb Award, a Belgian artist wins: that’s Kate Ryan with her latest single “Not Alone”.
In 2002 Kate Ryan achieved international success with a vocal-trance version of Mylène Farmer’s “Désenchantée” and since then her popularity grew in many European Countries with songs such as “Libetine” (another cover of Mylène Farmer), “Only If I”, “Ella est là” (cover of France Gall) and many others! In 2006 she also represented her Country at the Eurovision Song Contest with “Je T’Adore”.
Twenty-two points behind the winner we find the German duo Italobrothers with “Up’N’Away”, while the third place was reached by one of the biggest French breakthroughts of the year, Indila, with the Muttonheads remix of “Dernière danse”.
This year’s line-up featured 35 artists from all over Europe and the Mediterranean area, chosen by the editors of this website after monitoring the international dance scene and voted by a jury of djs, producers, musicians, journalists and bloggers.
